For my five objects, I choose an array of figurines who all have attached ideals and which I have collected over the years. I choose my Thoughtfulness figurine in the bottom corner because that is where the thought process begins, rooted in reality. Next, my Dream figurine begins his journey by floating off into space where he ascends to encounter Kindness and surrounded by Love until he reaches the highest altitude where Adventure patiently waits and the journey begins all of which could not be accomplished without the support of family.
For the most part, the text is subtly hidden within clouds or the string and is meant to be looked at thoroughly to be recognized while color and the negative space among the figurines was meant to catch the eye. However, the letter F in family is surrounded by a golden glow since family is the only word without a figurine.
I choose the color, Spanish yellow, because I wanted to provide a warm glow that would surround the figurines almost like a halo which fades out sporadically and ascends dynamically to lead the eye up to the other figurines. Both pages are connected using the cloud bubbles and string.
